…and then there were two. The big three in apparel distribution are SanMar, Alphabroder, and S&S. Well, no longer is that true as number 3 bought number 2 and let’s hope it doesn’t ever go to one.

More details later, but one venture capital fund paid another lots of money and now we will buy most of our goods from one of two sources. Whether the companies will totally rebrand etc. not only isn’t clear now, mostly pronouncements on a day like this are not anything more than vague predictions.

More to follow I am sure. For now  their phones ring separately, and the little folks like Printgear and Staton etc. probably feel aa little bit smaller.
