My wife Pam (social media director of the Ink Kitchen!) and I are going to work with a Polish friend of ours  who is part of an international group of volunteers that is putting on an awesome event in the country of Georgia. It is in a location which shares borders with Armenia and Azerbaijan, a long way from our home in New England. The event is a free cultural festival called One Caucasus, and involves music and art.

My pal David Verga of CCL Branding in Winston-Salem, NC did a great logo for the project. My shop Mirror Image threw together some distressed discharge ink (emphasis on soft) prints of the logo on random shirt lying around late on Friday afternoon and they will make a small donation from us.

A lot of negative things have gone on and are going on in the part of the world that we are traveling to, but this One Caucasus Festival is a very positive one and that’s why my wife and I are going to help out. And of course we can’t go without bringing some t-shirts along for the volunteers, right?

If you have $5 or $20 we could use some financial support through our One Caucasus Festival Kickstarter page as well, the money is just for very basic supplies for the Festival, nobody is getting paid to do produce this.

If the electricity and internet are working in the hills of the country of Georgia in the Caucasus, I’ll post some photos of folks wearing the shirts this week.

For now here are a couple Americans wearing them, me the hillbilly guy and my lovely wife.
