We’ll do a longer post after the show, but check out some environmental products if you are still at the Long Beach ISS show:
American Apparel has baby shirts that are organic and other organic items as well.
Econscious has organic shirts, hats and my favoite of their products, really nice organic hoodies.
Rutland Ink has a new line of inks called Eko which is not water-based but has no PVC and prints much like traditional plastisol that everyone is used to.
Hanes has may t-shirts and hoodies made with EcoSmart fabric that is includes recycled polyester. It sounds like a small percentage, but it is the equivalent of 50 millions bottles per year that don’t go into landfills.
GSF has screens that involve a process that allows you not use tape.
Saati has many practical solutions for screen cleaning.
Albatross has roll tac, a great alternative to aerosol spray adhesive.
Go by Hirsch or SPSI and talk to them about the Kornit Direct to Garment (DTG) printers which are the most ecological of the DTG printers.
KIWO/Ulano have greener products for screen cleaning and screen making and are always at the forefront of developing new products, great folks to be connected to.
