We’ll have a full Ink Kitchen crew at the Long Beach ISS show next week. We’ll have our “Know-It-All” booth in full swing as we did last year. Ask us whatever you want about any form of decorating or any garment. If we don’t know the answer, we can ask one of a hundred experts we know at the show. If it still can’t be answered, we’ll get you the answer later. And… we have back up in the form of a couple of Magic 8 Balls.

Yours truly will not be there in person. Believe it or not I recently had brain surgery (not kidding, but I am ok…) after hurting my head in my regular game of football. The surgery apparently didn’t harm the small part of my mind that knows about screenprinting, and they certainly didn’t remove the wise-guy part of my brain, but the Doc says I can’t fly yet, so I’ll have to catch y’all next time around.

However, I’ll be doing our Ink Kitchen preview of the show and a couple longer features leading up to the show next week. Tom and I have some good stuff planned for the show, some cool give-aways, and we’ll have our “Guide to the Long Beach ISS Show”, always opinionated of course.  Make sure to stop by if you are there. If you are not traveling out there, we’ll be reporting from the show on a pretty constant basis and please check that out.

My partner in the Ink Kitchen will be there. That is Tom Davenport who owns Motion Textile up in Sacramento. He has a very cool shop, check out the video tour of it.

Our  buddy KC Hruby will be at our Ink Kitchen booth full time in Long Beach. KC works with me at Mirror Image and he has worked doing R &D and design for some of the most successful garment companies, like Ecko Unltd, Adidas, Shady, and Reebok. If you ask nicely he will answer any question you might have. Actually, if you don’t ask nicely he still probably will answer any question you might have.

Our Social Media Director Ms. Pam Ikegami will be there. Richard Greaves has called her “our secret weapon.” I guess the secret is out.

We’ll be videotaping printers, vendors, experts and in general what is going on at the show. Ace videographer Benjamin Jones of TBJproductions will be in the house. Here is the piece that he created with us from last year’s Long Beach ISS Show. It gives you a good taste of what you’ll see this year as well. We hope y’all can come by and give us a shout, and hey, we might even record it.

Ashley Myers ace photographer (check her photos out at www.ashleymariemyers.com) will be documenting the show, still camera style. She worked with us last year and has worked with Mirror Image for years.

We’ll have guest “Know-It-Alls” in residence at our Ink Kitchen booth. Brett Bowden of Printed Threads and PT General Store and Pierre Jamnicky of theshirtboard.com and Blue Moon Promotional are just a couple of folks willing to share their knowledge, wit and wisdom.
