Make American Great Again? Make America Gay Again? Make America the jumbled up bunch of confused people we have always been I would say.

Trump have been using American Apparel merchandise for some of their campaign stuff. Really?

I guess Trump forces are trying to avoid the Dubya issues with merch (the Bush folks were selling campaign garments that were made in Burma which were outlawed by Bush’s own regime.)

If you are going to make America Great, whatever that means, you better not use Burmese or Chinese merchandise.

However, using American Apparel for your merch is a bit strange for someone who is to the right of Attila the Hun. American Apparel used to have a giant three story banner on their plant that said, “Legalize LA” and welcomes immigrants. This is a strange choice for Mr. Build a Wall and They Won’t Come.

For their part, American Apparel disavowed Trump strongly and said they can’t control what is printed on their shirts. They did this pretty quickly when it was pointed out, in fact quicker than Trump disavowed Klansman David Duke…

And I hope whoever sold them the shirts doesn’t have to sue the campaign to get paid….

(Trump is infamous for not paying contractors…)
