Hot market printing is exciting, stressful, fun, and frustrating all at the same time. In the case of the 2016 NBA Finals a handful of us printers located in Northern California were a little down after the Golden State Warriors were defeated last night. So this morning, as our team packs up 30,000 royal blue tees to be sent back to the mill, I am reminded of a post titled Hot Market Heartbreak that I published back in 2014 which details how to handle a hot market loss. Enjoy.
This is the worst of all scenarios with hot market, when your team is way ahead in games and can clinch but the other team then runs the table. In baseball, hockey, or basketball you can be up three games and lose four in a row. That means you get ready to print four times but you don’t end up printing at all. You then get four nights of torture where you are only minimally rewarded for setting up and clearing your schedule and bringing in staff. At least with football it is one and done, winner take all.
Go Cavs! Sorry friends.
We’re all celebrating the Wine and Gold win at Jakprints 😀
