Printing on shirts is rarely perfect. The question is really how imperfect is it going to be. Part of keeping your customers happy does not happen on the production floor, it happens in the office. Much of what will cause you to have an happy customer later is to manage their expectations up front. Our pals at Jakprints do this as well as anyone. They do all kinds of paper and garment printing on a thousand substrates and they are great at letting you know what you are going to get in the end. They do sublimation on shirts and sublimation is a very cool process, producing great full color prints with a super soft hand, but there are issues that nearly always occur. This Jakprints photo and list is pretty damn clear and God help the customer that tries to send a shirt back to them because of a white line under the arm pit on their sublimation job….
