Tom posted Saturday about the “literally” hundreds of carts he has at his shop. I had one of those moments a few years ago where we finally got more carts, and I said to myself, what a total dumb ass I am. I can’t tell you how many years we had been putting shirts on the floor, on cardboard, bending tables, carrying shirts around, etc. All this stupidity just because we didn’t have enough carts. We make pretty large stable ones, but we could have made smaller ones and we can even put them on top of each other when we don’t want so much room taken up so no excuse. Some scrap or crappy plywood and some wheels and you are done. Not expensive, a no brainer. I felt really dumb after we built plenty. They not only work to lay out all shirts, but they are a good height to do other work and to carry things around without lifting and carrying.
