We have been looking at any possible way to save time on press.   One thing that I feel wastes a huge amount of time is taping pallets.   Our solution was to buy an extra set of pallets and create a pallet taping station.   Now we can take off all of our dirty fleecy pallets and replace them with freshly taped pallets.

Someone that is not a press operator can be making sure that pallets are getting taped before a press operator needs them.  When you change out your standard pallets for youth pallets or sleeve pallets,  tape the ones that come off, so that fresh pallets are always at your fingertips.
