So, I own a skate shop that is right down the street from my print shop. Because of this I decided that we should print our own skateboards.
Last year we purchased this fancy little press: http://www.neverthelessscreenprintingsupplies.com/silk-skates-deluxe-skateboard-screen-printing-press/
Really, we probably could have just built a jig and used some hinges, but these press has a couple nice features, such as pegs that mount the press to the hardware holes in the decks.
Today we busted out some smelly nazdar ink and made some prints happen. Check out the pictures
Pretty dope mang
That’s pretty awesome, haven’t seen many of us skateboarders/screen printers!
Curious about the viscosity of the nazdar ink. I’m a novice trying to screen on painted boards with speedball black ink and it keeps bleeding out.
Wondering if the nazdar inknis thicker and doesn’t have this problem
