This clip below is a pretty cool interview given by Bowie about art and how the “art world” keeps us from seeing the creativity in each of us. One of the things I have always loved about t-shirts is that creative words and images can be shared at a price that most people can afford. Shout out to Craig Calcaterra and his great morning email about baseball, politics, and a bit of whatever suits him called “Cup of Coffee” for pointing the way to Bowie.
My fav Bowie clip ever is him talking about how the Art establishment co-opts particular voices out of a fertile art movement to kill off that movement by creating singular voices to perpetuate the idea of Art as rare commodity by geniuses rather than something within all people pic.twitter.com/CXBzYBN6cR

I guess some people would like to have it differently, with some headscratching prices below. Nice material, nice styling, and perhaps clever, but this is some real retail craziness.
Call me crazy, but I would take any of my Farm Aid shirts for the whole lot of them. If you don’t believe there is a crazy income gap in this country, you need look no further than a t-shirt with a $1000 price tag.
