By experimenting with different variations and descriptions, the artist aimed to find the best tools within Mid-Journey to create the desired heron variations. 

From Mid-Journey to Let’s Enhance: Enhancing Artwork

Once the artist had settled on a few variations that fit the overall concept, they decided to enlarge the designs and take them through another AI tool called Let’s Enhance. This tool allowed for high-resolution printing on t-shirts, ensuring that the artwork was crisp and detailed. With the enlarged variations in hand, the artist turned to Adobe Photoshop to further modify the designs. They utilized the new neural filters in Photoshop to color map the different birds, resulting in a bright and vibrant range of colors. This stage of artwork development also involved the use of AI-generated text and the incorporation of hops, which were also generated by Mid-Journey. 

The Great Blue Heron Brewing Company: AI and Branding

The artwork developed through this project found its purpose in a brewing company called The Great Blue Heron Brewing Company. Each t-shirt represented a different brew, with names inspired by great blue herons. The herons served as the bellwether of the watershed, symbolizing the health of the entire ecosystem. By combining AI-generated artwork, AI-generated text, and the concept of branding, the artist created a collection of t-shirts that not only showcased creativity but also conveyed a deeper meaning tied to the great blue herons and their significance in the ecosystem.

Alternatively, they could collect all three variations,embracing the subtle differences and creating a truly personalized collection. Traditionally, creating three designs with special effects and samples would take approximately two weeks of work. However, with AI tools, the artist was able to accomplish the same task in just three to four days.
