Rick sat down with Yoann Giorsetti, Managing Director of heat transfer vinyl manufacturer Siser North America, to discuss approaches to sustainability in manufacturing in the US and Europe and to share how we as business owners can influence our suppliers to pursue more sustainable practices.

There are many ways decorators and suppliers can reduce their environmental impact, including using renewable energy sources, reducing energy consumption, conserving water, reducing waste generation, designing for recyclability, and using recycled materials.

As Yoann says, it’s a battle to try to sacrifice profit for the right thing, but it’s something we all need to do for the future of our children and our planet.
